Written by Marcus Henry in Select 50 Showcase MVPs (05.08.2024) - Robinson’s standout performance at the Select 50 Showcase, where he claimed the overall MVP title, showcases his exceptional talent and potential as a wide receiver. Standing at an impressive 6’2″ and 180 pounds, Robinson possesses the physical attributes coveted at the collegiate level. His smooth route-running ability allows him to create separation from defenders and make himself a reliable target for his quarterbacks. One of Robinson’s standout qualities is his superb short-area quickness, which enables him to make sharp cuts and elude defenders with ease. Combined with his strong and reliable hands, he excels at catching contested passes and attacking the football in flight, making him a threat in jump-ball situations. Robinson’s ability to fight through press coverage demonstrates his physicality and determination on the field. His good body control enables him to adjust to passes in mid-air and make difficult catches along the sidelines or in traffic. Despite flying under the radar on the recruiting trail, Robinson possesses the skill set and frame necessary to compete at the next level. With his blend of size, athleticism, and technical ability, he is a prospect that college programs should get eyes on.

Evaluation Written by Michael Knight in GAMECHANGERS – Stock Up Showcase Texas MVPs (01.08.2024)- The wide receiver position is in the same position as quarterback where it was just brutal to try and pick one player as the MVP. The wide receiver position was deep on Sunday but V.R. Eaton 2025 wideout Karsten Robinson stood out in a group of absolute ballers. Robinson had a really good camp and impressed just about every coach and writer that was in attendance. We had a lot of reps in the 1 on 1 portion of the camp and there were times when Robinson was thrown what would be considered a 50-50 ball with him and the DB. When it was Robinson, it felt like 60-40 or 70-30 that he was going to get it over the DB. Great hands, playmaking and so much more.

Evaluation Written by  Marcus Henry in Select 50 Showcase All- American Team (12.10.2023)- Robinson is a big body target with ability to control his body to make the contested catches in heavy traffic. He runs crisp routes, Robinson has oily hips that allows him to bend deep at the top of his routes to create separation and his quickness off the line of scrimmage enables him to win early off of the ball. Karsten put on a show at two of the Select 50 Showcases, taking home a Wide Receiver MVP award to stamp his status as an All American.

Evaluation Written by  Marcus Henry in Select 50 Showcase Frisco (05.26.2023)- Robinson is a big body target, who runs crisp routes, he gets in and out of his breaks quickly and his ability to create separation at the point of attack enabled him to win rep after rep against some elite compettion. Karsten has a large catch radius, he has large hands that engulf the football, he attacks the football with a purpose when he gets targeted and his ability to catch the football from multiple angles was on full display no matter who was guarding him. Robinson uses his length well against press coverage, he has the frame to absorb contact and these traits allowed him to win on the contested catch consistently. Karsten took home the WR MVP, finished number eight in the Top 25 Player Rankings and made the All-Showcase Team. Robinson had a breakout sophomore season at Haslet Eaton and he is a name to markdown on your list of up and coming wideouts in the class of 2025.
